New Asus P7P55 uses over 32 power phases!

A lot of people are saying Asus has outdone themselves with no less than a 32 + 3 phase design on their upcoming P55 based P7P55 Premium board. A response to Gigabytes 24 phase design? Maybe. In theory more phases deliver better, cleaner, more stable power to the CPU; while reducing or spreading out heat between pulse-width modulation devices (PWMs). Some critics insist that more PWMs are indicative of a design flaw or poor engineering. They go on to mention that a better phase design could use stronger PWMs or even better yet: digital PWMs.
